This makes it all more interesting when visiting the museum in Alicante. The MARQ museum is divided in to different rooms: Prehistoric room with evidence of humans dated back 100,000 years. The prehistoric room takes us back to the Orientalising period and shows us rests of the life then. The life of hunters and farmers an early metalworkers. The Iberian room shows us the life of the Iberians exposing the ceramic work and through interactive audio visual equipment insight in the culture and social aspects of the time. The Roman room shows us the impact the Roman colonization had on the area and the way the Christianity made its way in the late Roman period. Included in this room the Romanization and the Roman culture. Middle ages room shows us the coexistence of different cultures during the middle ages. ( Christians, Islam and the Jude’s lived together during the middle ages. The modern age room shows us in a chronological way the past from 1500 –1931. All aspects of life and the evolution during the modern period.
